Painting Barrels for the Beach
Our barrel project has been a big success with adults and children participating in this artistic exercise. Thanks to everyone at Parks and Rec, CASA, the 21st Century After School Program, the Girl Scouts, the Winthrop Art Association and to all the families and individuals who took the time to paint one.
We have a few barrels left to paint for this season.

The barrels are part of our beach cleanup project. By bringing attention to the colorful barrels on our beaches, it is hoped that people will use them and not leave trash on the beach. Thanks to everyone who uses the barrels.
